Merry Christmas!

I got photoshop for Christmas and this was my first attempt at creating something. I still don't understand a lot about the program, but I'm slowly learning. I made this for Chris to give to his Doctors for Christmas. It was a last minute thing so we didn't send them out to everyone, hopefully next year we'll have it together so we can send them to everyone.

***

It's been a week since I've blogged, so thought I would tell you whats been going on in the Mower household. Chris has been a great husband and father this past week. He took Blake for me all day last Saturday so that I could shop and get my hair done. It was sure nice to not have to drag Blake around with me! Sunday I was sick in bed all day, so again he took care of Blake all day. Tuesday, work was slow for Chris with Blake, so he stayed home in the morning and so I could go get a pedicure with my sisters. Christmas came early for me this year!

Blake has loved all the time with his Dad too. Since Blake had a weekend full of playing all day, He has wanted me to play with him all day nonstop. And boy does he have energy! I think this picture was from Tuesday night when Chris was playing with him. Chris pulled Blake's shirt up over his head, and Blake thought it was hilarious. He was running around the house like this for quite a while. I don't think I've laughed that hard in a long time! Blake would run around and then come up to me and lick my face! I don't know where he learned that! I was laughing so hard I was crying! I wish I would've gotten more pictures but with me laughing so hard and Blake running around like a crazy man...this is the best I could get. Blake sure loves playing around with his Dad and I love watching it even more!

Snowy Days

We thought Blake would love the snow, but we were wrong. If you zoom in on all these photos Blake has a frown on his face. Chris did everything to get Blake to enjoy it, but nothing seemed to work.

Blake finally smiled for the camera....and what a cute picture!

We didn't have any snow pants for Blake so we improvised with Chris's socks. They actually worked really well and kept him warm.

It's a Boy!

Another boy for us, and we couldn't be happier! I even got Blake to say brother last night. He's clueless though, for all he knows brother means stomach. Here are some pictures from the ultrasound. This little boy didn't want us to get a profile picture of him, so it's not very good. He kept facing us straight on and just looked like an alien. So, this is the best profile picture. The next 2 show that he's 100% boy! Just like Blake, there was no question that he was a boy! I am more anxious than ever now for him to come. Does anyone have any name suggestions?

Thirsty?

Blake made us laugh so hard tonight! He loves attention and has learned how to get it! Blake has always loved the water. He always seems to find our water cups and usually dumps it all over and plays in it. Tonight I guess he was thirsty....

Blake climbed up on the arm of the couch and kept dipping his hand in the water and then sucking it off. We tried to help him drink from the cup, but he insisted on dipping his hand.

First Sleepover!

Blake had his first sleepover last night with his cousins Easton and Brayden. It was so fun for the boys to play all night together. Blake was thrilled when he woke up this morning and realized they were still here too. It was fun to watch them all play and it was a glimpse for me and Chris of what it will be like with more kids! We've already decided our house is way too small! We started the night off with pizza of course. I think Chris enjoyed that more than anything. :)

When I took this picture of Easton, he excitedly asked if I would take his and the boys picture in front of the Christmas tree. I couldn't believe at how they all just came and sat in front of the tree to take a picture! Shocked really, because last year Tracy and I (Tracy is Brayden and Easton's mom) took the boys to Kiddie Kandids to get a Christmas picture done for our grandparents as a gift. I think we ended up going to Kiddie Kandids 5 different days until we finally ended up with a decent picture. Maybe we should have waited a year and we would have only had to go once!

Blake's sleepover night consisted of eating pizza, watching movies, playing with woody and buzz (and every toy that we have!), and of course dressing up like gunman! Well, Blake didn't dress up but Brayden and Easton loved putting on sunglasses and this helmet. It was hilarious. Brayden is 2 and he would go around with his "fatigues" on and growl like cookie monster. I don't think I've ever heard a little boy have such a low voice! It made me laugh every time.

I didn't get a lot of pictures of Blake, but here's one of him watching his movie. Blake is more into movies than dressing up I guess.

It was a fun night and Blake was really sad to see the boys leave. Chris was in shock after last night, and said we couldn't handle anymore kids! Too bad though, because we have one coming! I had to remind him that they don't come to us at age 2 and 5 thank goodness! Overall, it was a fun night and something we'll have to do again.

Wedding

Chris's sister got married back in October, and we just got the pictures back. It was a really great day, and it was beautiful! As, was the bride! Here's the happy couple, Danielle and Ryan Pitt

Everything at Danielle's wedding was so pretty. These were the candy jars she had out as a little favor to the guests. I wish I had more pictures from the wedding showing how beautiful it was.

Here's our family.

Blake loved the dance floor! He spent most of the night bustin' a move!

Blake was also one of the ring bearers. He did a great job, and he even galloped down the isle!

This is Grandma and Grandpa Jones with the bride. We love when Grandma and Grandpa come up from St. George to visit. We wish they lived closer. They are great examples to us and we love them very much

Easy Dinner Recipe

This isn't a very fancy recipe, but its one that is one of our family favorite. Plus its super easy and that's my favorite part! I call it Sunday Chicken Dinner...I'm not sure it really has a name. You take 2 cans of cream of chicken and mix it with one packet of onion soup mix. Put that in a crock-pot with frozen chicken breasts (4 pieces) and cook on low for 6 hours. I put that over rice which is really good. Easy, right?! And it's delicious!

Blake and Luke

This video isn't very significant or funny, but I put it on for Blake and he just watched it like fifty times and was giggling through everyone. It was hilarious!

Blake and Luke are playing ball with Chris. Chris mentions that they will be playing this video one day before the world series....

Yeah, we'll see if that ever comes true! Luke just turned 1 last week and is Dan and Laura's little boy. They loved playing together that night! Dan and Laura are really good friends of ours and we used to get together almost every weekend. Now that Dan's back in school we don't get to see them as much as we would like to. But when we do get together it's always a blast! I'm beginning to think the boys like it more than we do now.

This is the gang. Dan, Shay, Chris and Laura. Laura invited us all over for dinner and games for Dan's birthday.

Look-a-like

Wow, who knew?! And we all thought Blake was a mini Chris...What do you all think?

Recipe Monday

I thought Jeanine had a good idea about posting a recipe every Monday. Even though its not Monday I thought I would add my recipe for the week. I found this recipe on the back of a Vanilla Wafers box and made it this weekend. It was really good. I nice refreshing dessert. Enjoy!

Confession from the Pregnant Woman

Last time I was pregnant I didn't have any weird cravings or eating habits. Well yesterday I had my first craving. I was grocery shopping yesterday and saw the Sour Cream and Onion Pringles. They looked so good, so I couldn't resit. When I got home I couldn't stop eating them! Never had something tasted so good to me! And the diet Pepsi with the chips...I was in heaven! So I ate a whole can of pringles, by myself! Needless to say I didn't even think about eating the rest of the day. I didn't feel very good as the day went on, but who does after eating a whole can of pringles with soda?! Last night was interesting...my body had finally had it trying to digest all of that. I have never been that sick during both my pregnancy's! Luckily once it was all out, which only took a couple of minutes :), I felt so much better! The sad thing is, is that whole experience wouldn't stop me from eating those same sour cream and onion chips again today! I guess I didn't learn my lesson!

Bear Lake

I had to experiment with the slide show...I'm new at everything here in the blogging world. These are pictures from our trip to Bear Lake this summer. Oh and you can turn off the sound on this so you don't have to listen to this song every time you open my blog!

Happy Halloween

Here's the Halloween gang: Blake, Zach, Sara, and Curtis. Blake and his cousins did very well posing for pictures. We went to my Mom's and dipped carmel apples and frosted cookies. I think we enjoyed it more than the kids!

Halloween was fun this year. Blake, surprisingly, loved dressing up in his costume. He wanted to stay out all night and play outside in his costume.
